Miner's Reunions

The Marion County Coal Miners Museum has held two Miner's Reunions, and we hope to host many more.

 

During these mine reunions, we invite all the retired coal miners who worked in the Whitwell coal mines to gather and remember their days spent deep in the mines.

Our most recent reunion was held on December 8, 2021, and also served as a day of remembrance on the 40th anniversary of the fatal Mine 21 explosion.
